Margie & Maria — The Heart Behind the Magic

We are Margie and Maria — twin sisters, best friends, and co-founders of Fantasy Dog Portraits. As retired Philadelphia police officers and stepdaughters of a proud Korean War veteran, service, loyalty, and resilience run deep in our family’s soul.

Our journey into fantasy pet art began with one incredibly special pup named Magic — a tiny Malshi who brought light back into our lives after the loss of our mother. Magic was more than just a pet; he was our healer, our best friend, and a symbol of hope when we needed it most.

With athletes in our family and Margie’s love for all things sci-fi, mystical, and fantastical, we started to imagine a world where dogs could become heroes, champions, and legends in their own stories. That imagination blossomed into a mission: honoring the unique bond between pets and their people.

Today, we pour that love into every portrait we create. Whether your dog is a brave protector, a mischievous sidekick, or a comforting soul, we believe their story deserves to be celebrated in a fantastical, vivid, and charming way.
